Crappie fishing is the best in Texas here. There is shade under trees everywhere in the park is very well maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. The people who own the marina or fantastic. You can fish there under the dock in the shade all day long and they will wait on you hand and foot by bringing you food that you hear bordered from them. That's great while you're fishing!

Nice small lake to camp or clamp. Plenty of RV sites. Restrooms are not that great. Great fishing, swimming and nature seeing. Waste stations in some parts are too narrow and too much curve for longer RVs with dangerous concrete culvert at the entry. Very friendly staff and great safe place for kids. No partiers up late etc

Near Dawson TX. US Corp of Engineers campground overlooking Narvarro Hills lake. Beautiful views, fishing, boat ramp, swimming, hiking. Paved roads and pads. No wifi or cable. Full hookups. Some spaces OK for big rigs. Would return.

At first I didn't like the place, but as I got settled in I really grew to love it. The people at the gate are very friendly along with the guy that drives around to help you and answer questions.

Been coming to Liberty Hill Park since I was a small child. Great place to camp. Spent the Memorial Day weekend recently. One complaint though. We were at the swimming area and someone claiming to work for the park was running people off for having canned drinks of beer, soda, etc. He was extremely rude. I imagine the people he ran off won't be coming back. There are too many other parks to go to where you won't be harassed like that. I know that will be a consideration when planning our next camping trip.
